I founded Brine Consumer Law to help real people like you fight back against harassing debt collectors, unaffordable debt, and unfair business practices. As an active member of the National Association of Consumer Advocates, I’ve also signed a pledge that I will never represent any bank or creditor’s interest. You can therefore rest assured that will I provide clear, unbiased advice specific to your circumstances.

Originally from Connecticut, I received my law degree from Quinnipiac University School of Law, magna cum laude. My wife and I now live in Worcester County, and enjoy spending time with our children, cat, friends, and family. Outside the office, I enjoy gardening and candlepin bowling.

I’ve successfully represented clients at trial in both state and federal bankruptcy court, as well as multiple published court opinions. I earned a 2015 Client’s Choice Award from Avvo.com and was named to the Bankruptcy Court Pro Bono Honor Roll for 2014 and 2015.

After working as the senior associate at a consumer litigation firm now located in downtown Boston, I am keenly aware that in most cases you may not have the funds (or desire) to pay hourly billing rates for protracted litigation. Because of this, I try to reduce unnecessary costs as much as possible so that they aren’t passed on to you. Also, while each case varies, flat fee or contingency options may be available. BCL focuses its practice in all aspects of consumer litigation, including:

  • Bankruptcy
  • Student Loans
  • Debt Defense
  • Foreclosure Defense
  • Creditor Harassment
  • Credit Reporting Violations
  • Unfair/Deceptive Business Practices
